Hello Robert,
I regret I do not have that information for you. We sold the ranch 3-years ago and I cannot report on whether the new owner has maintained the structures that functioned as a surface irrigation system. I do know that he removed livestock. Grazing (mowing) and irrigation require constant maintenance and repetition as you well know.
These things worked well in West Texas over the 20-years we did them. We do these things in Idaho; they work but again, the process is continual. Results – good and bad – are seen much faster than in the deserts.
