All Posts 6 Comments Chad Gill June 20, 2017 at 9:28 am Really amazing all the wildlife out there. I was wondering about those salt blocks. I didn’t think they would use them with the high mineral content of that area. Guess I’m wrong. Reply Chris Gill June 22, 2017 at 1:40 pm Everything loves salt. Minerals are dangerous: Blocks that encourage deer antler growth contain copper and other compounds which are lethal to bighorn. As a general rule, adding water is the best practice for all wildlife. Make sure small animals and birds can get in and out otherwise drinkers can be a death trap. Thanks for your input. Reply Justin June 20, 2017 at 10:16 am It’s awesome seeing those mature bighorns! Are the dates correct? These were taken back in ’15? Thanks for the post Reply Chris Gill June 22, 2017 at 1:42 pm I believe you are asking about the video post and yes that was the winter of 15. The later post – put up in the last few weeks – are from this winter. Thanks for reading & watching. Reply Joe Davis June 20, 2017 at 5:03 pm Amazing videos. All kinds of activity.
